Logistics Manager (Aerospace)

Location: San Francisco, California, United States; in-office 5 days per week. Travel up to 25% of the time is required.

Salary: $128,400–$160,500 USD annually for the San Francisco location.

hirify.global designs, builds, and operates a large constellation of imaging satellites and delivers satellite data through a cloud-based platform.

What you will do

• Manage procurement activities, including quoting, purchasing, tracking, and receiving ground station materials and specialized equipment.
• Coordinate global supply chain logistics and equipment delivery to remote ground station facilities.
• Work with International Trade Compliance teams on export and import licenses and global trade compliance.
• Coordinate with international freight forwarders and customs brokers to manage worldwide shipping and delivery.
• Negotiate contracts with vendors, suppliers, and logistics partners to improve costs and service terms.
• Maintain commercial invoice, ECCN, and HST databases and audit spare-parts inventory across ground station sites.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of relevant supply chain or logistics experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
• Basic programming, scripting, and data analysis skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and stay organized.
• Ability to access applicable export-controlled information without additional export licensing, as required under EAR/ITAR rules.

Nice to have

• Lean Six Sigma experience.
• ASCM CPIM, CSCP, or CLTD certification.
• Experience with Bash, Python, or other scripting and object-oriented languages.
• Experience with Linux or UNIX servers, IP networks, or aerospace operations.
