Industrial Engineer - Foundry Quality and Reliability Labs (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Develop and optimize demand and capacity plans for failure analysis, material analysis, and reliability validation workflows.
• Build capacity models using time studies, standard work, and utilization analysis to identify bottlenecks and optimization opportunities.
• Design and implement KPI frameworks covering throughput time, utilization, quality yield, cost per test, and equipment effectiveness.
• Build automated KPI dashboards and reporting pipelines with Power BI, Python, and SQL, integrating data from MES, Workstream, and IT platforms.
• Improve Quality Management System processes in compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO/IEC 17025 standards.
• Collaborate on equipment purchases, facility layouts, workflow improvements, tool metrics, and productivity initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field with 4+ years of relevant experience; or a master’s degree with 3+ years of experience; or a PhD with no prior professional experience.
• Proficiency in capacity planning, factory operational planning, and lean manufacturing principles.
• Experience using Python, SQL, and Power BI for data extraction, transformation, aggregation, and reporting.
• Experience with data analysis and modeling for manufacturing or operational optimization.
• Demonstrated project management skills and the ability to deliver results within deadlines.
• Ability to work on-site in the United States at the listed locations.

Nice to have

• Experience with facility and equipment design for flexible manufacturing solutions.
• Knowledge of factory layout and workflow optimization tools, processes, and metrics.
• Hands-on experience with Equipment Management Systems for asset tracking and data extraction.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO/IEC 17025 Quality Management System requirements.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
