Industrial Engineer (Manufacturing)

Location: Blaine, Minnesota, United States; onsite

Salary: $89,300–$165,800 per year, with potential eligibility for annual incentives.

What you will do

• Design and optimize manufacturing system layouts, workflows, capacity, staffing, and material flow.
• Use data-driven analysis and Lean methodologies to improve safety, OEE, productivity, utilization, throughput, quality, and cycle time.
• Identify bottlenecks and reduce work in progress, scrap, defects, conversion costs, and operating expenses.
• Conduct time studies, capacity modeling, and production simulations to improve system performance and scalability.
• Partner with cross-functional teams on process optimization and New Product Introduction, including manufacturability, ergonomics, safety, and KPI alignment.
• Establish engineering best practices, design guidelines, standardization, and continuous improvement frameworks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing, industrial engineering, or operations optimization.
• Experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives in dynamic production environments.
• Strong expertise in Lean manufacturing, process improvement, systems optimization, and production simulation software.
• Advanced analytical, quantitative, leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency with CAD tools for facility layout and process design.

Nice to have

• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
• Experience with 3P and project management certification such as PMP.
• Advanced Excel skills and working knowledge of SQL.
• Experience with Machine Metrics, Power BI, or Tableau.
