TL;DR
CNC Machinist (CNC Manufacturing): Setting up and operating CNC mills, lathes, and other machining equipment to produce precision components in accordance with engineering drawings and production schedules with an accent on dimensional accuracy, quality inspection, and manufacturing reliability. Focus on interpreting GD&T, verifying components with precision measuring instruments, troubleshooting equipment, and supporting preventive maintenance and continuous improvement.
Location: On-site in DeLand, Florida, United States. 1st shift: 6:50 a.m.–3:20 p.m., Monday–Friday.

What you will do
- Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and other machining equipment.
- Manufacture precision components according to engineering drawings, specifications, and production schedules.
- Inspect machined components with calipers, micrometers, indicators, gauges, and other precision instruments.
- Troubleshoot machining issues and support preventive maintenance activities.
- Contribute to continuous improvement in safety, quality, delivery, and productivity.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED and experience operating CNC machining equipment in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, GD&T, and technical specifications.
- Experience using precision measuring equipment, including calipers, micrometers, indicators, and gauges.
- Ability to stand, sit, stoop, bend, walk, reach, squat, kneel, push, and pull for at least 8 hours per day.
- Ability to perform repetitive motions and lift, carry, and move materials, tooling, and machined components weighing up to 50 pounds.
Nice to have
- Experience with multi-axis CNC machining, CNC programming, or editing machine programs.
- Experience with lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, or Danaher Business System tools.
- Experience machining stainless steel, high-performance alloys, or aerospace and industrial components.
