CNC Grinder II (Manual) (Aerospace)

Location: Onsite in New Port Richey, Florida, United States. Monday–Friday, 2:45 PM–11:15 PM; routine overtime is expected.

What you will do

• Perform ID, OD, and surface grinding to deburr parts using manual equipment, blueprints, and setup sheets.
• Select appropriate holding devices, including chucks, collets, faceplates, vises, and sine plates.
• Inspect parts with precision measuring equipment such as optical flats, micrometers, and indicators.
• Complete scorecards, hazard recognitions, routers, and other required production documentation.
• Perform preventive maintenance on grinding equipment and support daily production and quality goals.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED and at least three years of related experience.
• Good knowledge of shop math and familiarity with precision measuring equipment.
• U.S. citizenship, U.S. lawful permanent resident status, protected person status, or U.S. Government export authorization is required.
• Ability to work onsite in New Port Richey, Florida, on the second shift.
• Ability to bend, lift, and stand for extended periods; frequent lifting up to 20 lbs. and occasional lifting up to 35 lbs.
• Good eye-hand dexterity; the role is safety-sensitive and subject to random drug and alcohol testing.

Nice to have

• Experience with hirify.global Business System or lean manufacturing principles.
• Knowledge of quality measures, AQL levels, and inspection methods.
• Experience with computers, CNC equipment, CNC controls, and tool offsets.
