Equipment Financing Operations Manager (Fintech)

Location: Chicago, IL; hybrid arrangement with 2 days per week on-site at 70 W Madison St, Floor 9

Salary: $86,600–$93,000 annually, with potential incentive compensation and discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Lead staff within a medium-complexity loan operations unit.
• Oversee multiple processes supporting the equipment financing lending and leasing portfolio.
• Manage, delegate, and distribute workload to maintain efficient and equitable operations.
• Handle escalated issues, identify root causes, and resolve complex operational problems.
• Coach, mentor, and develop direct reports to meet performance and service standards.
• Ensure consistent, high-quality service for internal business partners and clients.

Requirements

• Experience leading, coaching, and providing hands-on support to staff.
• Knowledge of equipment financing lending and leasing operations.
• Strong operational management, prioritization, analytical thinking, and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage complex issues and apply procedural expertise to make sound decisions.
• Ability to work processing center hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Legal eligibility to work in the United States at the specified location; a valid work or study permit may be required where applicable.
