Marketplace Operations Manager (Fintech)

Location: Nashville, United States (hybrid). Employees outside the Nashville area must travel to the Nashville office at least twice per year for company gatherings, with additional travel possible based on business needs.

Salary: $120,000–$140,000 USD per year, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Design reusable pricing frameworks for new marketplace services and managed-service offerings.
• Own take-rate and margin performance across active services, diagnosing underperformance by service, geography, and vendor segment.
• Monitor vendor supply and demand balance, direct supply-growth priorities, and oversee vendor tiering and ratings.
• Build consistent operating frameworks for launching new marketplace services.
• Identify recurring operational gaps and convert them into standardized processes.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Finance, Vendor Operations, Account Management, and Customer Success on commercial and operational decisions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in business operations, pricing or commercial strategy, or strategic finance.
• Experience designing pricing models, commercial frameworks, or margin-management systems.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills, including experience with Sigma, Looker, or Tableau.
• Experience partnering with senior stakeholders on decisions with direct P&L impact.
• Ability to build frameworks from ambiguous problems and combine strategic design with hands-on execution.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills across commercial, product, finance, vendor, and customer-facing teams.

Nice to have

• Experience in a marketplace, fintech, or B2B SaaS company.
• Familiarity with construction finance, lending, or real estate.
