Process Risk and Controls Consulting Intern (Summer 2027)

Location: New York, United States; travel to assigned client locations may be required.

Compensation: $35–$41 per hour

What you will do

• Support client meetings and consulting projects.
• Contribute to internal audit, SOX/compliance, and financial reporting control engagements.
• Prepare reports, document findings and recommendations, and discuss results with clients.
• Analyze client information using Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Complete client projects according to timelines and critical dates.
• Travel to client locations when requested and participate in relevant conferences, trainings, and meetings.

Requirements

• At least 90 credit hours completed and work toward a B.A., B.S., or equivalent degree at an accredited university.
• Accounting, Finance, or Data & Analytics major preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, with the ability to multitask and manage projects.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team with a high degree of integrity and professionalism.
• Access to reliable transportation and ability to arrange transportation to assigned client locations.

Nice to have

• Minimum 3.0 GPA.
• CPA certification or progress toward CPA certification.
