2027 Finance and Accounting Advisory Services Consulting Internship

Location: United States; position is based across offices in Colorado, Illinois, Ohio, and Massachusetts with a principally in-person Workplace for Your Day model and flexibility determined with the supervisor and team.

Salary: $36.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Evaluate reported financial statements for compliance with GAAP.
• Develop daily, weekly, and monthly financial reporting packages with KPIs and trend analysis.
• Develop and support internal and external liquidity management reporting.
• Create accounting and finance tools and templates for future client engagements.
• Collaborate with consultants and clients on continuous improvement recommendations.
• Help implement GAAP standards, including ASC606, ASC842, ASC805, and cash-to-GAAP conversion.

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance with an accounting minor, or a related field.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• Detail-oriented approach with problem-solving, communication, critical thinking, organizational, and technical skills.
• Some local, national, and occasional international travel may be required.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Nice to have

• On track to complete the education and credits required to sit for the CPA exam and obtain a CPA license.
• Proficiency with Excel.
• Bilingual Japanese and English or Chinese and English proficiency may qualify candidates for an exception to the sponsorship requirement.
