Senior Risk Control Consultant Field

Location: NJ - Morristown, United States; regular field presence with approximately 20%–50% of time onsite with customers and long-distance or overnight travel as needed.

Salary: $104,000–$171,700 annual base salary, plus eligibility for performance-based cash incentive awards.

What you will do

• Evaluate hazards, controls, management practices, and inherent risks for complex commercial accounts.
• Partner with Underwriting to select, retain, and grow a profitable book of business.
• Complete detailed risk assessments across manufacturing, warehouse, products liability, fleet, and multi-location exposures.
• Prepare technically detailed reports with clear risk evaluations and corrective recommendations.
• Identify uncontrolled exposures and provide solutions to mitigate potential losses.
• Serve as a subject matter expert and support higher-level projects affecting the Risk Control organization and hirify.global enterprise.

Requirements

• Seven years of experience in safety, risk control or management, occupational or environmental health and safety, science, engineering, construction, manufacturing, or a related field.
• Bachelor’s or graduate degree in environmental health and safety, engineering, construction management, basic sciences, or a related technical field.
• Advanced knowledge of the insurance industry and strong business acumen.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must have or be able to attain certifications required by applicable states.
• Strong written and verbal communication, critical thinking, influencing, negotiation, and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Recognized certifications such as ASP, CSP, ARM, or CFPS.
• Specialization in fleet, sprinkler contracting, inland marine, industrial hygiene, human factors, or ergonomics.
