CEI Senior Construction Inspector

Salary: $88,649–$100,737 per year

What you will do

• Inspect construction work and ensure assigned construction operations meet requirements.
• Perform technical assignments in field surveying and construction layout.
• Make and check engineering computations.
• Conduct field tests and assist with geotechnical field exploration.
• Communicate inspection findings effectively in written and verbal English.
• Support the Project Administrator and Senior Inspector under general supervision.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of construction inspection experience.
• High school diploma.
• Ability to work in Franklin or Chattanooga, Tennessee.
• Effective verbal and written English communication.
• Ability to obtain required certifications within six months of hire, including TDEC Level 1 EPSC, TDOT roadway, asphalt, concrete, radiation safety, soils and aggregates, MOT, and work-zone traffic-control certifications.
• 10-hour OSHA Safety Training.

Nice to have

• TDOT experience.
• Site Manager or AASHTOWare experience.
