Senior Data Scientist (AI/ML)

Location: Hybrid role requiring at least three days per week onsite at Webster Outlying Field in St. Inigoes, Maryland

Salary: $135,000–$169,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead the technical development and implementation of advanced analytics applications.
• Apply data mining, data modeling, natural language processing, and machine learning to large structured and unstructured datasets.
• Guide data visualization, interpretation, and reporting to communicate actionable findings.
• Provide guidance and supervision to junior staff and collaborate with senior team members.
• Support analytical methodologies that improve project outcomes and meet deliverable deadlines.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in a technical, business, computer science, or IT discipline, or a bachelor’s degree plus four additional years of experience.
• At least 10 years of experience overseeing data mining, data modeling, natural language processing, and machine learning.
• U.S. citizenship and eligibility to complete a government security clearance investigation.
• Active Secret Security Clearance required.
• Strong data analysis, analytics, documentation, communication, customer relations, and supervisory skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
