Senior Data Scientist (AI/ML)

Salary: $160,000–$190,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Develop data pipelines, data structures, and workflows for emerging sensors, platforms, and data types.
• Assess metadata, schemas, APIs, ETL processes, and data ingestion across existing data operations.
• Analyze data holdings and recommend training, test, and validation splits for AI/ML model development.
• Design statistical and quantitative methods to solve complex mission and operational problems.
• Build web-scraping algorithms and analytic tools for imagery curation, acquisition, geospatial filtering, and chipping.
• Build software to manage labeling campaigns, monitor training-data priorities, visualize data, and integrate data-management platforms.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance and ability to obtain a CI/Poly.
• Experience with AI/ML technologies and data systems.
• Experience working with geospatial file formats, JSON, XML, and related data formats.
• Quantitative analysis and data operations experience, including visualization, data manipulation, and ETL.
• Working knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Development experience in Python and other languages for data cleaning and manipulation.

Nice to have

• Experience applying NLP algorithms to extract data from documents.
• Experience with NGA analytic modernization efforts, computer vision, automated collection, automated reporting, or data standardization.
• Expertise in classification, regression, clustering, data reduction, causal modeling, and other quantitative techniques.
