Maintenance Supervisor (Food Manufacturing)

Location: South San Francisco, California, United States; onsite role with varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Salary: $98,400–$127,900 annually

What you will do

• Lead maintenance shift execution and ensure equipment, products, and processes meet quality, efficiency, and safety standards.
• Identify operational issues, assign corrective actions, follow up on completion, and escalate unresolved matters.
• Coach, onboard, train, and develop associates while promoting ownership, accountability, teamwork, and problem-solving.
• Coordinate with production, department leadership, incoming shift leaders, and other cross-functional partners to keep production on schedule.
• Deliver KPIs for people, quality, safety, service, cost, throughput, and on-time, in-full shipping.
• Reduce waste and downtime, support productivity initiatives, manage staffing schedules, and use tablet applications including SOMAX, Rever, Shift Guides, and Intelex.

Requirements

• 3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food industry.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Proficiency-level computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to read English and accurately follow written procedures.
• Ability to work above ground level with appropriate safety equipment and in a non-air-conditioned environment.

Nice to have

• College degree or some college education.
