Salary: $98,993–$128,688 per year

What you will do

• Coordinate and implement environmental activities, policies, permit requirements, and compliance programs across assigned regions, plants, and projects.
• Provide environmental guidance, training, and support to business leaders, employees, contractors, and external parties.
• Respond to releases or discharges of regulated substances, including agency notifications, contractor coordination, cleanup direction, and regulatory reporting.
• Support environmental compliance reviews, Phase I and II environmental site assessments, remediation projects, and public inquiries.
• Maintain environmental records, review disposal contractors and facilities, and manage Environmental Services contracts.
• Supervise direct reports, including feedback, development, time approval, and performance evaluations.

Requirements

• 10 years of environmental experience with a bachelor's degree, or 12 years of environmental experience with an associate degree.
• Advanced knowledge of storage tanks, hazardous materials transportation, solid and hazardous waste, spill prevention, water programs, spill response, air emissions, asbestos, PCBs, pollution prevention, environmental site assessments, and emergency planning.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to work autonomously with limited to no supervision and assume manager responsibilities when needed.
• Ability to travel 20%–40%, including occasional overnight stays, and provide minimal after-hours and weekend phone availability.
• Physical demands range from sedentary to light duty.
