What you will do

• Lead classrooms for day-to-day and long-term substitute assignments.
• Follow lesson plans, provide direct instruction, and apply behavior-management strategies.
• Support tutoring, enrichment, and small-group differentiation in literacy and mathematics.
• Maintain blended-learning data trackers to monitor student progress.
• Supervise students before school, during the school day, and after dismissal.
• Follow campus safety policies and contribute to ambitious student outcomes.

Requirements

• Meet the minimum requirements for a valid California Substitute Teaching Permit.
• Strong oral and written communication, organization, dependability, and follow-through.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office.
• Commitment to the academy's mission and educational philosophy.
• Subject focuses include Special Education, Math, Science, and English Language Arts.

Nice to have

• Previous substitute teaching, instructional aide, or other relevant experience.
• Spanish bilingual skills.
