Instructional Aide - Elementary School - Stockton (26-27)

Location: Stockton, California, USA; based at school sites in an in-person classroom environment.

Salary: $20.00–$24.00 per hour, paid over 12 months and including scheduled school breaks and summer break.

What you will do

• Provide instructional support to individual students and small groups in regular and special education classrooms.
• Tutor students, reinforce learning activities, review assignments, and support testing accommodations.
• Implement after-school academic, fitness, arts, enrichment, and homework activities.
• Use positive behavior management and support behavior intervention plans, emotional development, and peer relationships.
• Prepare instructional materials, maintain classroom equipment, and help create a clean and safe learning environment.
• Track attendance, support registration and community outreach, and communicate with students, families, school staff, and community partners.

Requirements

• One to two years of experience working with young people in a youth development organization or equivalent experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent, plus an A.A. degree, a B.A. degree or at least 48 units in progress, or a passing ETS ParaPro Assessment score of 460.
• Pass the CBEST exams.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to work effectively with youth from diverse backgrounds.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace applications, including Google Classroom, Docs, Sheets, and Slides.
