Lead Implementation Manager (Payments)

Location: New York City, United States; hybrid work model. Positions in Scottsdale, San Francisco, Chicago, Phoenix, Washington, DC, and New York follow a hybrid model. Candidates must independently be eligible to work in the United States for any employer at the date of hire; visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $125,000–$156,000 USD per year for New York and San Francisco. Phoenix, Chicago, and Washington, DC: $104,000–$130,000 USD per year. Discretionary incentive plan and benefits are also available.

What you will do

• Lead implementation teams and consultants supporting merchant integrations.
• Manage timelines, deliverables, quality standards, QA processes, and implementation outcomes.
• Serve as the escalation point and subject-matter expert for complex mobile checkout and app-based implementations.
• Lead technical and UX design reviews, implementation assessments, and go/no-go recommendations with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate with Product, Engineering, Design, and Operations to improve integrations, documentation, playbooks, and training materials.
• Build scalable implementation standards, pre-launch scorecards, post-launch reviews, and repeatable processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in integrations, product implementation, or related roles.
• Strong experience with web browser and mobile app ecosystems, including iOS, Android, and in-app user flows.
• Experience managing vendors, consultants, or cross-functional teams.
• Deep understanding of digital checkout, payments, or e-commerce experiences.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
