What you will do

• Provide technical leadership for the modernization of an enterprise entitlements platform.
• Design, develop, and support enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and modern UI frameworks.
• Build cloud-native solutions with Kubernetes, containers, and microservices.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
• Define API and integration strategies and implement authorization and policy-driven access controls.
• Contribute to service mesh architectures using technologies such as Istio and Envoy, while mentoring engineers and promoting operational excellence.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree with at least 7 years of systems analysis or application development experience, or a bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• In lieu of a degree, at least 9 years of combined education and relevant work experience, including 5 years of systems analysis or application development experience.
• Strong Java and Spring Boot expertise.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, Angular or modern frontend development, Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud-native development.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and strong knowledge of security, authentication, and authorization.

Nice to have

• Experience with Rego or Open Policy Agent.
• Digital banking or financial services experience.
• Experience with Istio, Envoy, or other service mesh technologies.
• Identity and Access Management background.
