2026 - 2027 Classified Substitute Pool (On-Call)

Location: Delano and Lost Hills, California, United States. On-call assignments require work at school sites, with schedules and hours varying by assignment.

Pay: $18.00 per hour.

Wonderful College Prep Academy is a free public charter network serving TK–12 students in California’s Central Valley through schools in Lost Hills and Delano.

What you will do

• Support instructional, intervention, enrichment, and expanded learning activities.
• Encourage student engagement, positive behavior, and safe participation in school activities.
• Assist with attendance, student records, filing, data entry, correspondence, translation, and general office administration.
• Support school leadership and teachers, including supply purchasing and substitute coverage coordination.
• Supervise student movement, campus areas, parking lots, and adjacent spaces.
• Report safety concerns and unauthorized activity, and assist with fire drills and emergency evacuations.

Requirements

• Experience in educational or after-school programs is preferred.
• Effective communication with students, staff, and families from diverse backgrounds.
• Proficiency with basic office software such as Microsoft Office.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, collaboration, flexibility, and multitasking skills.
• Professional handling of confidential information and ability to adapt to changing assignment needs.
