Financial Analyst 2

Location: Boston, MA; hybrid work arrangement

What you will do

• Build cost, profitability, forecasting, and other financial models for new business and ongoing operations.
• Analyze revenue, expenses, capital expenditures, acquisitions, market trends, program performance, risks, and opportunities.
• Develop and monitor KPIs, including IRR, NPV, yield, and margin analysis.
• Partner with department heads on monthly financial results, budgets, corrective actions, and cost-saving initiatives.
• Support annual financial planning, quarterly forecasting, executive presentations, and strategic initiatives.
• Review general ledger activity, reconciliations, period-end close, reporting systems, and data-entry errors.

Requirements

• 3+ years of financial analysis or accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred.
• Strong analytical, reporting, process improvement, and organizational skills.
• Experience with planning and forecasting through spreadsheet modeling.
• Strong accounting knowledge, including journal entries and their impact on financial reporting.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, plus excellent written and verbal communication skills.
