Focus on optimizing inventory turns, improving on-time delivery, leading planning teams, and implementing ERP and materials-management processes.

Location: Fort Smith, Arkansas, United States; on-site five days per week

Salary: $83,600–$151,479.99 annual base salary

What you will do

  • Lead materials management, production scheduling, materials planning, inventory strategy, warehouse management, and purchasing for the site.
  • Oversee receiving, shipping, warehousing, production parts presentation, and plant logistics.
  • Implement and maintain Materials and SIOP standard work, planning systems, ERP processes, and order-management practices.
  • Manage supplier performance and develop countermeasures for underperforming suppliers and processes.
  • Lead lean and continuous-improvement initiatives focused on delivery speed, supplier integration, and inventory optimization.
  • Organize, direct, and develop local planning teams while supporting cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 10 years of integrated materials-management experience in a manufacturing environment using lean and MRP practices.
  • At least 3 years of managerial experience focused on planning standardization, sourcing complexity reduction, and talent development.
  • Experience with rate-based or flow-line and job-shop manufacturing, inventory management, scheduling, and visual management systems.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, leadership, collaboration, and prioritization skills.
  • APICS certification and Oracle experience are preferred.
