QMS Engineer

Location: Burlington, Ontario, Canada; travel 10–20% across domestic and international sites

Salary: CAD 82,000–92,000 per year

What you will do

• Manage the Quality Management System and conformance to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 across multiple sites.
• Plan and conduct internal audits according to current ISO standards.
• Prepare audit reports, present findings to management, and follow up on nonconformances through effective CAPA closure.
• Support Product Change Notification, End-of-Life, and customer notification processes.
• Manage the calibration process and coordinate continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or electronic engineering, materials science, semiconductor fabrication, or a related engineering discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in electronics engineering, manufacturing, or quality, preferably in a high-tech or electronics industry.
• Hands-on experience conducting internal audits and participating in CAPA processes.
• Certified Lead Auditor credentials for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
• Experience with root-cause analysis, including 8D problem-solving and FMEA.
• Strong communication, analytical, organizational, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• IATF 16949 or ISO 22301 Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor certification.
• Knowledge of SPC, SQC, Gage Repeatability & Reproducibility, and DOE.
• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer, Certified Quality Auditor, or equivalent SQA certification.
