Account Receivable Operations Lead (Fintech)

Location: Atlanta, with a hybrid work arrangement

What you will do

• Reconcile incoming cash, investigate discrepancies, and apply approved refund and credit decisions.
• Lead end-to-end merchant collections, manage escalated accounts, and coordinate weekly recovery reviews.
• Prepare incident reports and support demand letters, litigation escalations, and formal legal requests.
• Own merchant expense and loss accruals, monthly reconciliations, and year-end close activities with Accounting.
• Build and maintain Tableau dashboards, define AR KPIs, and present monthly recovery and exposure metrics.
• Maintain AR procedures and complete audit-ready records across CRM, Tableau, Jira, and HMD.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in accounts receivable, collections, cash reconciliation, financial-services recovery operations, or a related field.
• Knowledge of credit and refund decisioning, financial adjustments, and internal controls.
• Experience managing recovery or collections caseloads against weekly and monthly deadlines.
• Strong written communication for merchant-facing, legal, accounting, and audit documentation.
• Strong investigative judgment and ability to determine when issues require legal escalation.
• Proficiency with Tableau and case-management or ticketing tools such as Jira and HMD; English is required.
