Manager, Premium Audit

Location: Remote within the United States; territories excluded. Reliable, high-speed internet required.

Base compensation: $95,000–$120,000 USD annually.

What you will do

• Manage premium audit operations through team leads and professional individual contributors, maintaining quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction standards.
• Oversee internal audit processes and vendor relationships, including service-level performance across mail-in, phone, virtual, and physical audits.
• Develop audit plans, procedures, best practices, and operational initiatives that improve efficiency, reduce costs, and support new audit technologies.
• Partner with Analytics, Product, Engineering, Operations Performance, Underwriting, Claims, Billing, Customer Service, Business Development, and Compliance teams.
• Lead coaching, performance management, calibrations, quality reviews, recruitment support, onboarding, and development planning.
• Resolve complex audit disputes, adjustments, settlements, customer complaints, and escalations, coordinating with Legal when needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• 5+ years of Workers' Compensation Premium Audit experience.
• 6+ years of overall commercial insurance experience.
• 3+ years of management or supervisory experience.
• Ability to work remotely while living and working in the United States, excluding territories, with reliable high-speed internet.
• Knowledge of state and bureau audit requirements across multiple audit types.
