What you will do

• Contribute directly to day-to-day projects within technology and software engineering teams.
• Build, design, and optimize trading systems capable of processing massive amounts of data.
• Apply sophisticated coding and engineering techniques across the technology stack.
• Help maintain a stable, scalable, optimized technology environment with minimized risk.
• Collaborate with researchers, engineers, and traders on complex problems in systematic trading.

Requirements

• Preferred major in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or another technical field.
• Strong GPA and completion of at least one co-op placement.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
• Self-starter attitude, fast learning ability, resourcefulness, attention to detail, and capacity to manage multiple tasks.
• Ability to work collaboratively while acting autonomously when appropriate.
• Knowledge of technologies such as C++, C#, Python, .NET, Java, scripting languages, Oracle, SQL Server, Windows/Linux, TCP/IP, networking, security technologies, and firewalls.

Nice to have

• Experience in financial services or coursework in finance or investments.

Hiring process
