Business Applications Developer (Python)

Location: Hybrid schedule based in Bethesda, MD, Chicago, IL, or Cleveland, OH; relevant full-time work experience must be in the US

Annual salary: $71,750–$189,625

What you will do

• Translate business requirements into technical design specifications for application changes and new systems.
• Code, debug, test, and document business applications.
• Create, execute, and evaluate application system test plans.
• Configure servers and research and implement software, services, and platforms that support application development standards.
• Create project task plans and collaborate with business partners, infrastructure engineers, DevOps, and IT Security.
• Provide system training to team members as needed.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience programming with SQL, R, Python, or Power BI.
• At least 1 year of relevant full-time work experience in the US.
• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM-related field or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to work a hybrid schedule from Bethesda, Chicago, or Cleveland.
• Ability to learn technical and procedural information, follow established standards, multitask, and communicate clearly.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly to new technologies.

Nice to have

• Basic knowledge of Snowflake or other enterprise data warehouse databases.
• At least 1 year of experience working with IT infrastructure and DevOps teams.
