Enterprise Applications Developer (Salesforce)

What you will do

• Develop, test, deploy, and maintain business applications, scripts, services, APIs, and automation using Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, and approved technologies.
• Build and support integrations between Salesforce, SaaS platforms, cloud services, databases, external partners, and enterprise systems using REST APIs, middleware, and event-driven patterns.
• Develop Salesforce enhancements and connected solutions using declarative tools and, where applicable, Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flow, SOQL/SOSL, and platform APIs.
• Create data extraction, transformation, validation, loading, reconciliation, and workflow automation processes.
• Assist with AI-enabled and agentic solutions, including integration, testing, prompt and workflow configuration, monitoring, and documentation.
• Troubleshoot applications, integrations, data, Salesforce, and automation issues while supporting releases, documentation, compliance, and production operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 1–3 years of professional software development, application development, internship, or comparable hands-on experience.
• Foundational Python experience plus at least one additional web or application development language, preferably JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Understanding of REST APIs, web services, data integrations, SQL, relational data concepts, and basic ETL or data-processing workflows.
• Familiarity with Git, testing, source control, deployment processes, and modern software development practices.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills; ability to work in an in-office role in Irvine or San Diego, California.

Nice to have

• Salesforce development or configuration experience, including Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flow, SOQL/SOSL, platform APIs, permission models, or declarative tools.
• Salesforce certifications or experience with Salesforce ecosystem products such as Health Cloud, Experience Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Rootstock, ComplianceQuest, or MuleSoft.
• Experience with AWS or Azure, serverless applications, cloud databases, integration platforms, CI/CD, front-end development, ETL/ELT, data visualization, or workflow automation.
• Exposure to AI, large language models, retrieval systems, prompt and workflow design, or agentic automation.
• Experience in healthcare, medical devices, life sciences, or another regulated industry.
