Director, Visa Consulting and Analytics (AI)

Location: Hybrid role based in Ashburn, Virginia, or Atlanta, Georgia, with at least 3 days in the office. Travel required 5–10% of the time.

Salary: $151,600–$257,000 USD per year, with potential sales incentives; bonus and equity may also be available.

What you will do

• Lead the sales, delivery, and implementation of small business and commercial payments consulting engagements for financial institutions, issuing banks, and fintechs.
• Manage the consulting opportunity pipeline, meet sales targets, and collaborate with account executives and internal VCA teams.
• Act as a subject matter expert on commercial payments, banking operations, payment schemes, card issuing, and customer lifecycle strategies.
• Develop frameworks, toolkits, best practices, analyses, and recommendations that improve client performance, growth, profitability, and customer engagement.
• Build scalable AI solutions and disseminate insights, emerging payments trends, and thought leadership across hirify.global Consulting and Analytics.
• Develop enduring relationships with clients and colleagues while partnering across marketing, sales, risk, innovation, and global regional teams.

Requirements

• 10+ years of work experience with a bachelor’s degree, 8+ years with an advanced degree, or 3+ years with a PhD.
• Experience with small business and commercial card customers, including customer acquisition, cross-sell, underwriting, onboarding, implementations, account management, supplier enrollment, and retention.
• Relevant commercial card experience at a US financial institution or consulting firm.
• Knowledge of banking operations, payment schemes, business systems and processes, marketing initiatives, and card issuing.
• Experience using financial indicators to measure business performance and improve ROI while managing multiple projects concurrently.
• Strong communication, storytelling, presentation, relationship-building, technology, and AI skills.
