Senior AI Engineering Manager – LLM & AI Strategy

What you will do

• Lead the AI squad’s strategy, people management, technical standards, and overall AI vision.
• Oversee the end-to-end delivery of AI- and LLM-powered products, including automated rating and agent copilots.
• Review system architecture and define standards for prompting, evaluation, guardrails, scalability, quality, and compliance.
• Own the technical roadmap and resolve complex engineering challenges hands-on.
• Mentor and manage AI Engineers and Senior AI Engineers.
• Partner with Product, Legal, Compliance, vendors, and executive stakeholders on AI governance, risks, performance, and build-versus-buy decisions.

Requirements

• 8+ years of engineering experience, including 3+ years in technical leadership or engineering management.
• Experience leading teams that deliver AI- or LLM-powered products end-to-end.
• Deep knowledge of AI architecture, LLMOps, and scalable infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience reviewing architecture, setting engineering standards, and resolving technical issues.
• Strong stakeholder communication skills and the ability to explain complex AI concepts to diverse audiences.
• Fluent English and legal right to work in the European Union are required.

Nice to have

• AI governance or ethical AI certifications and experience.
• Experience in regulated industries such as finance or insurance.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and automation tools for AI deployment.
