Laboratory Manager

What you will do

• Manage daily operations and personnel for an environmental testing laboratory.
• Supervise, coach, develop, and evaluate laboratory staff.
• Oversee wet chemistry and heavy metals analytical testing.
• Maintain productivity, turnaround times, data quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate staffing, scheduling, workload distribution, and laboratory performance metrics.
• Support ICP-MS and wet chemistry instrument maintenance and troubleshooting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, Biology, or a related scientific discipline.
• 2–5 years of laboratory management or supervisory experience.
• Experience in environmental testing laboratories, wet chemistry, and/or heavy metals analysis.
• Experience with ICP-MS instrumentation and laboratory operations.
• Experience in an accredited environmental laboratory.
• Professional working proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking, is required.
