Laboratory Analyst (Environmental Chemistry)

What you will do

• Prepare and analyze soil and water samples in the Wet Chemistry department.
• Follow standard operating procedures, scientific methods, EPA methodology, and quality assurance procedures.
• Prepare and maintain standards and reagent solutions.
• Operate and maintain complex analytical instruments.
• Document laboratory procedures and results in logbooks and laboratory information systems.
• Interpret and report data while meeting project deadlines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or a related field.
• Previous laboratory experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills, including Word and Excel.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Authorization to work indefinitely in the United States without restriction or sponsorship; professional working proficiency in English is required.
