A400M Certifying Staff/Support Staff CAT B1/B2 (d/m/w) (Aerospace)

Location: Manching, Germany; on-site aircraft maintenance with assignments at customer locations in Germany and abroad

What you will do

• Determine and evaluate conformity of maintenance work and release completed work within the applicable maintenance scope.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled line and base maintenance on A400M aircraft.
• Troubleshoot mechanical systems, perform repairs, adjustments, functional tests, and complex system tests.
• Set up mechanical modifications, retrofits, engineering changes, dismantling, upgrading, assembly, and disassembly activities.
• Provide technical direction, support, and supervision to non-Part 66 MAML personnel.
• Document work independently and assess findings, deviations, and required corrective actions.

Requirements

• Completed vocational training as an aircraft mechanic or comparable qualification.
• Extensive experience in civil or military aircraft maintenance.
• Valid EASA/DEMAR Part 66 AML CAT B1/B2 with type ratings required.
• Good German and fluent or business-level English required.
• Willingness to travel and work at customer locations in Germany and abroad, including in confined spaces and at great heights.
• Strong problem-solving ability, independence, resilience, service orientation, responsibility, teamwork, and quality awareness; familiarity with MS Office.

Nice to have

• Experience in an EASA/DEMAR 145 maintenance organization.
