Localization Specialist PT/ES

What you will do

• Localize the overseas e-commerce website interface and manage language vendors and resources.
• Collaborate with product, marketing, operations, development, and other cross-functional teams to deliver multilingual user experiences and support product launches and campaigns.
• Perform localization quality assurance, resolve language issues, and identify opportunities to improve localization systems and tools.
• Build and maintain glossaries, style guides, knowledge bases, and process documentation.
• Work with the AI team on multilingual LLM training and optimization through data annotation, quality assessment, prompt optimization, and evaluation of generated results.
• Propose workflow improvements and contribute to other localization projects.

Requirements

• Native Portuguese or Spanish, full professional proficiency in the other language, and fluent English required.
• At least 2 years of translation or localization experience.
• Strong attention to detail, responsibility, adaptability, and sensitivity to local user needs and cultural nuances.
• Excellent communication skills, team spirit, and self-motivation.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-border collaborative environment.
