Localization Specialist (E-commerce)

Joybuy is hirify.global’s European retail platform, operating a cross-border e-commerce business across the UK, Netherlands, Germany, France, Belgium, Luxembourg, and Spain.

What you will do

• Manage localization of the overseas e-commerce website interface, including language vendors and language resources.
• Work with product, marketing, operations, and development teams to deliver consistent multilingual user experiences and language solutions for launches and campaigns.
• Perform localization quality assurance, resolve language issues, and lead projects that improve language quality and localization systems.
• Build and maintain glossaries, style guides, process documentation, and the localization knowledge base.
• Collaborate with the AI team on multilingual LLM training and optimization, including data annotation, quality assessment, prompt optimization, and evaluation of generated results.
• Propose workflow improvements and contribute to additional localization projects.

Requirements

• Native Portuguese or Spanish, with full professional proficiency in the other language.
• Fluent English required.
• At least 2 years of experience in translation or localization.
• Strong sensitivity to local user needs, cultural nuances, and localization quality.
• Excellent communication skills, self-motivation, adaptability, and ability to work in a fast-paced cross-border environment.
