Solution Engineer, Real Time OT Systems

What you will do

• Design and implement reliable architectures for SCADA, EMS, and ADMS systems.
• Provide application support, troubleshoot issues, analyze performance metrics, and coordinate vendor support for EMS and SCADA applications.
• Develop features, enhancements, scripts, APIs, background services, and microservices while conducting code reviews.
• Support platform upgrades, data archives, network monitoring tools, configuration changes, and patch deployment.
• Perform backups and restoration tests, document emergency recovery procedures, and plan for performance events.
• Provide after-hours support through an on-call rotation, with occasional travel and overtime as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with relevant experience, or an associate degree or high school diploma/GED combined with the required equivalent experience.
• Experience in IT/OT system administration, IT/OT application support, cybersecurity, or ADMS, DMA, EMS, OMS, and SCADA environments.
• Experience with Node, Express, full-stack web development, Python, FastAPI or Flask, and Python 3.
• Experience with SQL Server, T-SQL, database modeling, MongoDB schema design, query development, and SQL query tuning.
• Experience building APIs, background services, and microservices; Node 18+ and modern React and TypeScript development are required areas of experience.
• Must work on site in New Albany, Ohio; overtime, on-call assignments, and occasional travel may be required.

• Next.js experience.
• Experience with ORMs such as SQLAlchemy, Prisma, or Sequelize.
• Professional certifications such as A+, Network+, CCNA, CCNP, Cyber Security+, Security+, or CCSP.
