Localization Quality Assurance Analyst I (Arabic)

Location: Madrid, Spain; full-time onsite

What you will do

• Execute test passes on localized game builds to verify linguistic, functional, and visual accuracy.
• Identify, reproduce, and log localization bugs involving translation, UI, variables, terminology, and cultural appropriateness.
• Amend or propose objective linguistic corrections in text management systems.
• Analyze issue patterns, flag localization and internationalization risks, and support glossary and style guide validation.
• Follow test plans, contribute to test case improvements, and evaluate quality against platform-holder and branding standards.
• Participate in ticket review, bug reproduction, escalation, standups, bug triage, and milestone QA reviews.

Requirements

• Native-level Arabic fluency required.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills required.
• QA, localization QA, testing, bug logging, or test execution experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with game consoles, mobile platforms, game development terminology, and first-party certification standards.
• Knowledge of Jira, bug tracking platforms, text management systems, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and version control platforms.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; detail orientation, organization, collaboration, and deadline management are expected.

Nice to have

• Experience with localization or CAT tools such as Trados, MemoQ, or XLOC.
• Experience working with external QA partners or freelance reviewers.
• ISTQB certification or equivalent QA accreditation.
• Knowledge of regional age rating standards in supported territories.
