Solution Engineer, Real Time OT Systems (SCADA/.NET)

Location: On site in New Albany, Ohio; Salem, Virginia; or Corpus Christi, Texas. Overtime, on-call assignments, and occasional travel may be required.

Salary: $87,633–$109,544 for Real Time Operations Solution Engineer SG7 or $98,993–$128,689 for Real Time Operations Solution Engineer Senior SG8. The listed compensation range is $98,993–$128,688 per year.

What you will do

• Design and implement reliable architectures for SCADA, EMS, and ADMS systems in accordance with applicable standards.
• Provide application support, lead troubleshooting, investigate performance issues, and coordinate vendor support for EMS and SCADA applications.
• Develop features and enhancements, conduct code reviews, and maintain application development standards and technical documentation.
• Support platform upgrades, data archives including PI and OSI Chronus, network monitoring tools, and operational technology platform analysis.
• Create PowerShell, Batch, and Python scripts to deploy configuration changes and patches across servers.
• Perform backups, restoration tests, emergency recovery documentation, and after-hours on-call support for DMS, EMS, and SCADA systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with relevant experience, or an associate degree or high school diploma/GED combined with the required experience for the applicable compensation grade.
• Experience in IT/OT system administration, IT/OT application support, cybersecurity, or ADMS, DMA, EMS, OMS, and SCADA environments.
• ASP.NET WebAPI, ASP.NET Core, SQL Server T-SQL, database modeling and design, and strong SQL query-writing and tuning skills.
• Experience building Windows Services with .NET, including .NET Framework 4.8 and .NET Core 3.1 through 10.
• Blazor Server experience is required.
• Certifications such as A+, Network+, CCNA, CCNP, Cyber Security+, Security+, or CCSP may substitute for part of the required experience.

Nice to have

• Blazor Hybrid or Blazor WebAssembly experience.
• Micro ORM experience with Dapper or RepoDb.
