System Integrator (SCADA)

Location: Full-time onsite in Bend, Oregon, United States

Salary: $73,559.20–$91,944.60 per year

What you will do

• Integrate remote solar and battery data systems into the enterprise SCADA platform and operations and control center.
• Interpret electrical, networking, control, mechanical, civil, and meteorological drawings, points lists, and OPC data to identify devices and build accurate data mappings.
• Create, test, maintain, and review Python scripts and code used in the integration process.
• Establish and verify nightly data backfill transfers, run database queries, and monitor platform resource utilization and logs.
• Provide technical support for network and equipment configurations and troubleshoot complex site monitoring systems.
• Coordinate commissioning and integration support with customers, SCADA engineers, field technicians, and project stakeholders.

Requirements

• At least two years of power industry experience, or a relevant bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, renewable systems, or a related field.
• Ability to work with owners, EPC subcontractors, and field personnel.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring employer sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Experience with Ignition by Inductive Automation and SCADA platforms.
• Knowledge of PV solar monitoring functions and designs.
• Understanding of Modbus RTU/TCP, DNP3, OPC UA, and OPC DA.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP networking and industrial automation systems.
