Sr. MES/SCADA Analyst

Location: Spartanburg, South Carolina, United States; on-site production support is required during 1st shift.

Salary: $92,600–$154,400 per year.

What you will do

• Develop, modify, configure, and support SCADA and MES applications using Ignition and Sepasoft.
• Generate tags, develop reports, and provide operator training.
• Provide hands-on production support to keep SCADA/MES systems online during 1st shift.
• Design and implement MES integration enhancements with PLCs, JDE, and other systems.
• Develop functional specifications, test cases, design documentation, and NGDV controls standards.
• Help protect the SCADA/MES environment and maintain data security, integrity, privacy, validation, and recovery controls.

Requirements

• Development and support experience with Ignition and Sepasoft.
• 3–5 years of experience as a SCADA or MES engineer or developer.
• Working knowledge of Rockwell or Siemens PLCs, OPC-UA, and MQTT protocols.
• Experience with Python, Java, Jython, C, C++, SQL, or other programming languages.
• Proficiency with Windows Servers.
• Applicants may need to be U.S. Persons because the role may involve access to controlled goods and technologies under ITAR or EAR.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent field.
• Experience with REST, SOAP, XML-RPC, JSON-RPC APIs, and web services.
• Knowledge of OEE, Track and Trace, ERP work orders and routings, and production scheduling.
• Experience managing code repositories such as GitHub.
