Pharmacy Technician II (Specialty Fulfillment)

Location: Onsite at Acaria Health Pharmacy, 5 Skyline Drive, Suite 240, Hawthorne, New York 10532. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM Eastern Time.

Salary: $19.43–$32.98 per hour.

What you will do

• Prepare, count, label, package, and accurately fulfill specialty medication orders under direct pharmacist supervision.
• Pick medications and strengths, maintain prescription logs, and complete required order documentation.
• Purchase, receive, track, and reconcile specialty medication inventory, including back-orders and limited-distribution products.
• Manage expired or discontinued medications and maintain temperature, cleaning, calibration, and maintenance records.
• Coordinate with pharmacists, nurses, provider offices, and other departments to support timely prescription fulfillment.
• Follow cold-chain, hazardous drug handling, compounding, quality, safety, HIPAA, accreditation, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of pharmacy technician or relevant medical office experience.
• Familiarity with medications used to treat chronic or debilitating illnesses, including biologics, injectables, and specialty medications.
• Ability to work onsite in Hawthorne, New York, in a high-volume, deadline-driven pharmacy environment.
• New York pharmacy technician registration is highly preferred; PTCB certification is highly preferred.
• Candidates without current PTCB certification must be willing to obtain it after hire.
