What you will do

• Produce daily and enterprise stories that inform audiences across consumer platforms and professional services.
• Work with reporters from pitch through publication.
• Coach reporters to break larger and more significant stories.
• Select feature ideas and drive coverage.
• Ensure stories meet tight newsroom deadlines and maintain high editorial quality.
• Pitch ideas for video and podcast content.

Requirements

• Exceptional curiosity and news judgment for analyzing complex legal and government actions.
• Excellent editing and writing skills.
• Strong collaboration, communication, change management, and influencing skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage multiple stories and tight deadlines.
• A self-starting approach and commitment to high standards.
• Bachelor’s degree and five or more years of journalism experience.
