Technical Product Owner Director, Claim

Location: Hartford, Connecticut, United States

Annual base salary: $120,400–$198,700, plus eligibility for performance-based cash incentive awards.

What you will do

• Lead a cross-functional Agile product team delivering capabilities and solutions for the Claims organization.
• Define, prioritize, refine, and maintain the team backlog; accept final outputs and make trade-off decisions to maximize product value.
• Translate business strategy, product vision, and customer needs into execution-ready work, goals, roadmaps, and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with engineering and architecture teams on platform, data, integration, technical solution, reliability, and quality considerations.
• Set objectives and KPIs, measure solution performance, support business readiness and adoption, and remove delivery impediments.
• Share Agile best practices, drive continuous improvement, and foster an innovative, inclusive, collaborative, and self-organizing team environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least three years of experience in a related field and three years of experience motivating or influencing teams.
• Two years of experience in Agile product management and two years of experience in the supported discipline, such as Claims, Risk Control, Technology, Project Management, Production, or Application Development.
• Three years of experience articulating and translating business strategy, product vision, and product analysis.
• Strong Agile and product mindset, including experience applying Agile principles, practices, and methodologies.
• Effective communication, collaboration, influence without formal authority, servant leadership, and continuous improvement skills.
