Director, Software Product (AI)

Location: Falls Church, Virginia, United States

Base salary: $130,000–$210,000 per year, with compensation varying by city and state.

What you will do

• Own the software product portfolio, roadmap, prioritization, and product bets based on business value, adoption potential, and strategic fit.
• Lead discovery with business, operations, field, and corporate partners across preconstruction, project delivery, and corporate functions.
• Manage lean, agile agentic pods in which AI-fluent engineers build alongside AI agents.
• Run delivery hands-on by shaping backlogs, facilitating planning and reviews, clearing blockers, and making scope and trade-off decisions.
• Drive product launches, user enablement, feedback loops, usage analytics, and adoption across jobsites and offices.
• Recruit, coach, and develop product managers, product owners, and product-minded engineers while helping scale the agentic engineering practice.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in software product management, product delivery, or engineering leadership, including 4+ years directly managing teams that ship production software.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field; an advanced degree is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with AI-enabled and agentic development methods, including AI coding agents, assistants, and human-in-the-loop workflows.
• Track record of delivering software end to end, from discovery through launch, adoption, and iteration in lean, agile teams.
• Experience with outcome-based product management, success metrics, product instrumentation, and evidence-based roadmap decisions.
• Strong stakeholder management, written communication, and verbal communication skills across executive, corporate, and frontline field audiences.
