Nursing Faculty (Nursing Education)

Location: St. Louis, Missouri, USA; teaching includes classroom, laboratory, simulation, and clinical settings, with flexible evening and weekend classes.

Salary: $75,000–$95,000 per year; $15,000 sign-on bonus.

What you will do

• Teach assigned nursing courses in classroom, online, clinical, laboratory, and simulation formats.
• Develop engaging learning experiences and implement course curricula and teaching materials using technology and evidence-based methods.
• Evaluate student performance, provide timely feedback, and deliver remediation when needed.
• Lead clinical, laboratory, and simulation learning while connecting nursing theory to safe, ethical, and professional practice.
• Mentor students and new faculty, participate in committees and program evaluation, and support the Chamberlain community.
• Engage in scholarship, professional service, and ongoing development of teaching and nursing practice skills.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in nursing required; a PhD in an appropriate field is preferred.
• Current, unencumbered Missouri professional nurse licensure, or eligibility to obtain it, is required.
• At least two years of clinical nursing experience.
• Experience with learning management systems, simulation equipment, and online platforms, with increasing ability to work with AI.
• Strong communication, initiative, judgment, conflict management, collaboration, and emotional and social intelligence.
• Maintain required regulatory, practice, and clinical compliance credentials and meet applicable state authorization requirements.
