Director, Global Pricing Governance & COE

Location: Hybrid in Foster City, California, US; at least 3 days per week in the office. Travel required 5–10% of the time.

Salary: $188,400–$301,500 USD per year, with potential bonus, equity, and sales incentive payments where applicable.

What you will do

• Own and operate the global pricing governance framework, including policies, decision rights, escalation paths, documentation standards, and risk controls.
• Build and lead the Pricing Center of Excellence with common methodologies, frameworks, tools, and best practices for global pricing teams.
• Lead complex, cross-functional pricing strategy programs tied to enterprise growth priorities and own end-to-end outcomes.
• Partner with Product, Finance, Legal, Deal Teams, Sales, Regional Pricing, Commercialization, and Go-to-Market leaders.
• Define and monitor KPIs for pricing effectiveness, governance health, and execution quality while driving continuous improvement.
• Manage and develop two direct reports and mentor junior pricing team members.

Requirements

• 10+ years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree, or 8+ years with an advanced degree, or 3+ years with a PhD.
• Experience owning complex, cross-functional decision frameworks or governance processes.
• Strong analytical, financial modeling, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complexity into executive-level decisions.
• Experience in payments, financial services, strategy consulting, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience leading through influence in highly matrixed global organizations and managing high-performing teams is preferred.
• Ability to work from the Foster City office at least 3 days per week.

• Practical experience using AI and modern analytical tools to improve modeling, insight generation, workflows, and governance.
