Senior Data Engineer (Healthcare)

Location: New York City office; in-office work required three days per week on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday

Salary: $220,000–$245,000 per year, plus equity incentives and competitive benefits

What you will do

• Build, optimize, and maintain data pipelines powering business operations.
• Define reusable, abstracted datasets for Business Intelligence, Marketing, and Data Science Research.
• Design and promote federated data validation frameworks to monitor inconsistencies.
• Apply data privacy and security best practices to protect user information.
• Work across the modern data stack with engineering leadership and partner teams.

Requirements

• 4+ years of software or data engineering experience, including distributed data processing, data warehousing, governance, Big Data, privacy, and data quality.
• Strong experience with Python and SQL, including SQL tuning and query optimization.
• Experience building scalable data pipelines, data models, and reusable datasets.
• Experience with Airflow, PostgreSQL, Iceberg, Snowflake, Spark, medallion architecture, and event-driven architectures.
• Familiarity with healthcare or insurance, data security, and HIPAA compliance.
• Willingness to work from the New York City office three days per week.
