What you will do

  • Design and operate scalable data pipelines and orchestration systems for imaging and biomarker data.
  • Build secure, compliant cloud-native infrastructure aligned with healthcare standards, including HIPAA and GDPR.
  • Improve performance and fault tolerance across distributed data workflows.
  • Integrate DICOM and other healthcare data pipelines into the data lake and analytics stack.
  • Implement data validation, observability, monitoring, and production-quality testing.
  • Support automated ingestion, transformation, cataloging, and data access for analytics, AI, and ML use cases.

Requirements

  • 1–2+ years of experience in data engineering, ETL development, or cloud-based data orchestration.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
  • Hands-on experience with Airflow, Prefect, or a similar workflow orchestration tool.
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, or similar cloud platforms, plus Databricks and distributed processing frameworks such as Apache Spark or Dask.
  • Understanding of data validation, observability, testing, and production best practices.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills; healthcare, imaging, or PHI-sensitive data experience is advantageous.
