TL;DR
Financial Specialist (AI/Automation) (Finance): Managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, revenue recognition, and monthly close activities with an accent on accounting controls, US GAAP, and end-to-end ownership. Focus on automating Finance workflows with AI, improving internal controls, and resolving complex billing and payment discrepancies while coordinating across PST timezone calls.
Location: Argentina; remote. Availability for calls scheduled in the PST timezone is required.

What you will do
- Manage Accounts Payable, including invoice review, vendor communication, payments, accruals, prepaids, and reconciliations.
- Manage customer Billing and Accounts Receivable, including invoice issuance, aging, collections, and payment discrepancy resolution.
- Support Revenue Recognition and maintain consistency across contracts, project activity, billing, and accounting records.
- Participate in monthly close activities, account reconciliations, and journal entries.
- Coordinate multiple Finance requests and develop, improve, and monitor internal controls.
- Identify inefficiencies and implement AI- and automation-enabled workflows for recurring Finance activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 5+ years of relevant accounting experience with hands-on expertise across AP, AR, Billing, Revenue Recognition, and monthly close.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and accounting controls.
- Ability to independently organize, prioritize, and resolve concurrent requests from multiple stakeholders.
- Analytical, detail-oriented, process-focused approach and ownership from issue identification through resolution.
- Availability for calls scheduled in the PST timezone.
Nice to have
- Experience with Light and/or QuickBooks.
- Experience building or implementing Finance automation workflows.
- Background in a technology, consulting, or high-growth company.
