Financial Operations Specialist (AI)

Location: Remote, based in the United States. The role requires eligibility to access U.S. export-controlled technology.

What you will do

• Own and continuously improve Finance Operations processes, including documentation, controls, service levels, escalation paths, and performance reporting.
• Lead root-cause analysis for recurring operational issues, establish KPIs, identify trends and risks, and drive corrective actions.
• Build scalable procedures, playbooks, intake mechanisms, governance routines, and searchable guidance.
• Partner with Finance leadership, technology and systems teams, Procurement, Legal, IT, People, and other stakeholders on process improvements, automation, system implementations, and policy rollouts.
• Evaluate and implement responsible AI and automation use cases that improve productivity, data quality, service delivery, and decision-making.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Operations, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in finance operations, accounting operations, business operations, process improvement, or a related field.
• Experience improving end-to-end business processes and understanding finance operations such as procure-to-pay, accounts payable, expense management, purchasing, vendor management, close support, or financial reporting.
• Strong analytical, project management, and change management skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
• Must be based in the United States and eligible to access U.S. export-controlled technology.

• Advanced degree or professional certification.
• Experience with ERP, workflow, expense management, or reporting tools.
• Experience coaching a team and working with AI, automation, data quality, controls, security, and human oversight.
